Madār-e-Wisāl: The Story of a Hand-Carved Walnut Wall Art Relief

How a private drawing about need, power and an uncertain tomorrow became Madār-e-Wisāl, a limited-edition carved walnut relief by SaifX Ebonform.

Before there was wood, there was a page, a few instinctive lines, and a question about tomorrow.

THE STORY BEHIND THE PIECE

Madār-e-Wisāl means The Orbit of Union. It began as a private drawing with two thoughts written beside it. One was a plain request: "Friend, lend me some of your money today." The other was a quiet reminder that nobody is promised tomorrow, whether they hold the bowl or sit on the throne.

That small moment stayed with SaifX Ebonform. He did not want it to fade like pencil on paper. So he carved it into Heritage Walnut, where a passing thought could become something that lasts.

HOW THE ARTIST TELLS THE STORY

The composition has no horizon. Circles, planes and angular forms pass through one another as if they share the same gravity. Nothing stands alone. Every shape supports, interrupts or redirects another.

The circles speak of the human need to return and reconnect. The long geometric planes bring movement and doubt. A throne may stand for authority and a bowl for need, but time reaches both.

HOW A GALLERY WOULD SHOW IT

A relief like this is meant to be seen from more than one place. Hang it at eye level, with soft light from the side, and the carving begins to move. From one position it looks architectural. From another it looks almost orbital. Give it a wall with room around it and it holds the whole space.

THE WOOD AND THE MAKING

The work is made in Heritage Walnut, a dense wood whose grain already carries years of growth. Each passage is carved and refined by hand so that light keeps changing the picture. Madār-e-Wisāl is a limited edition of 30 collector pieces. You can read more about the craft in how EBONFORM creates a collector piece and why wood changes the way art is experienced.
