Some converge toward a single point. Others break away, bend, overlap or remain deliberately unresolved. Together they describe a life shaped by resistance: an attempt to protect what remains within while confronting experiences that cannot simply be repaired.

At the heart of the work is a deeply personal admission:

“Even after great trials, I could not mend myself.”

The work does not treat incompleteness as failure. Its unfinished boundaries suggest that a human being is never a completely sealed structure. Experience enters. Memory remains. Certain wounds become part of the architecture rather than disappearing from it.

The upper forms behave almost like a protective canopy, while the angular passages beneath fracture and change direction. Their movement carries the eye through moments of resistance, rupture and continuation. What appears at first to be a fortress gradually reveals itself as something more vulnerable: a structure continuously being rebuilt from within.

Carved into Heritage Walnut, the composition moves from the intimacy of the artist's original hand-drawn studies into a permanent physical form. Grain, relief, shadow and incision become part of the narrative. No two pieces of walnut carry precisely the same natural pattern, giving every numbered work its own material character within the controlled edition.

HISĀR-E-NĀ-TAMĀM is not a monument to perfect recovery.
